Chicago Bulls guard Jimmy Butler did not practice Wednesday and is day-to-day after an MRI confirmed he has a strained shoulder, head coach Tom Thibodeau told reporters.

"Jimmy's still sore," Thibodeau said, according to the Chicago Tribune. "We'll see where he is (Thursday)."

Butler is scheduled to play in his first career All-Star Game on Sunday and is also slated to take part in the Skills Challenge on Saturday. The Bulls' last game before the All-Star break is Thursday against the Cleveland Cavaliers
