Reports: Several teams, including Portland, interested in Arron Afflalo
The Nuggets are considering trade offers for Arron Affalo, according to a report from Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
A separate report from ESPN's Marc Stein said several teams are convinced Denver will receive a first-round pick from Portland in exchange for the veteran guard/forward.
Another report from ESPN's Ramona Shelburne said the Blazers are one of multiple teams interested in Afflalo but that the recent play of C.J. McCollum is "influencing things."
Stein later reported that the Nuggets are seeking a future first-round pick and second-round pick for Afflalo, as well as two first-round picks for guard/forward Wilson Chandler.
The Nuggets acquired Affalo in a trade with the Orlando Magic in June. Over 53 games this season, the 29-year-old has averaged 14.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists.
Chandler is in his fifth season with the Nuggets after being sent to Denver from New York as part of the blockbuster trade that shipped Carmelo Anthony to the Knicks.
In 52 games this season, Chandler has averaged 13.9 points and 6.0 rebounds. The 27-year-old is shooting 42 percent from the field and 33.8 percent from three-point range.
The Nuggets currently sit in 11th place in the Western Conference at 20-33, while the Blazers are third at 36-17.
