Chicago Bulls power forward Taj Gibson said on Saturday that he has been playing with a stage two ligament tear in his left hand for four weeks.

Gibson revealed the injury after the Bulls' 112-107 win over the Phoenix Suns. The five-year veteran scored 12 points and added four rebounds in 29 minutes off the bench.

Gibson hasn't missed any time with the injury and was averaging 9.2 points and 6.0 rebounds over six games this month entering Saturday.

Gibson also denied reports that suggested he was frustrated over a perceived lack of shots.

After Saturday's win, the Bulls are 35-21, third in the Eastern Conference. Gibson is averaging 10.8 points and 6.8 rebounds over 46 games this season.
