Jordan Clarkson hit a last-second game-winner in overtime to lift the Lakers to a 113-111 road victory over the Sixers on Monday.

Somebody had to win in this matchup of hapless squads, and Clarkson, a 2014 second-round pick, made sure it was the Lakers.

After Nerlens Noel tied the score at 111 with 12 seconds left, L.A. decided to bring the ball up the court without calling timeout. Wayne Ellington dribbled the ball towards the left elbow, drawing the attention of multiple Philadelphia defenders.

With all eyes on Ellington, Clarkson quietly cut along the baseline from the right corner to the left block, where he found himself wide open. Ellington made a simple pass to Clarkson, who finished the play with a light floater over the undersized Ish Smith with just 0.7 seconds remaining. Philadelphia's desperation heave was unsuccessful and L.A. held on for the two-point victory.

Clarkson finished with a game-high 26 points, 11 assists and six rebounds. Ellington added 20 points, three rebounds and three assists.

Noel led the Sixers with 19 points, 14 rebounds and four assists. Isaiah Canaan added 18 points and three assists.

The Lakers improved to 20-53. The Sixers fell to 18-57.
