76ers F Nerlens Noel leaves game with right eyelid cut

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) The Philadelphia 76ers say forward Nerlens Noel will not return to Saturday night's game against the Charlotte Hornets after suffering a cut to his right eyelid.

The injury came midway through the second quarter. The game was stopped after Noel emerged with a bloodied face after a 76ers layup.

Noel had two points and two rebounds in 10 minutes before leaving the game. Noel had six double-doubles in his last eight games.
