Cavaliers clinch East's second seed, Central Division with win over Bucks
The Cleveland Cavaliers clinched the Eastern Conference's No. 2 seed and the Central Division title in their 104-99 win against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday. Cleveland needed a win against Milwaukee or a Chicago loss to Orlando. Luckily for the Cavaliers, they got both.
Victor Oladipo's layup with 1.5 seconds remaining gave Orlando a 105-103 comeback victory at home against Chicago. Following the Bulls' loss, Kyrie Irving led the Cavaliers (51-27) with 27 points and nine assists, while LeBron James added 21 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.
[daily_cut.nba]The Bulls lost on Wednesday night despite the return of Derrick Rose after missing 20 games because of minor knee surgery.
With James back in Cleveland, the Cavaliers have improved last season's record by 17 games and have four remaining before the playoffs.
The Atlanta Hawks (59-19) have clinched the Eastern Conference's No. 1 seed.
