Clippers coach Doc Rivers 'guesses' Chris Paul out for Game 1 vs. Rockets
Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers does not think Chris Paul will be able to play in Game 1 of the team's playoff series against the Houston Rockets.
Paul left Saturday's Game 7 victory over the San Antonio Spurs late in the first quarter with a hamstring strain and returned midway through the second quarter. Rivers told reporters after the game that he is "very" concerned about Paul's health and "guesses" he won't play in Game 1.
Sunday, the Clippers listed Paul as questionable for the game.
Though Paul returned to Saturday's game, he was seen limping at times and grimacing on the bench. Despite the injury, he scored the game-winning basket on a layup with one second left and finished with 27 points on 9-of-13 shooting.
