LeBron James climbs to fourth on all-time playoff assists list
Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James took over fourth place among the NBA's all-time playoff assists leaders during Friday's Game 3 against the Chicago Bulls.
James entered Friday tied with Spurs point guard Tony Parker for sixth on the list with 1,059 career playoff assists. He then passed Steve Nash's 1,061 assists and Larry Bird's 1,062 assists in the first quarter of the game.
The 30-year-old finished the first quarter with seven assists to help the Cavaliers jump out to a 24–18 lead.
Jason Kidd is next on the list with 1,263 career playoff assists, while John Stockton (1,839) is No. 2 and Magic Johnson (2,346) is No. 1.
