2015 NBA Finals highest-rated ever on ABC through two games
The 2015 NBA Finals have drawn the highest-ever ratings on ABC through two games, Nielsen announced Monday.
The Cavaliers tied the series Sunday night, 1–1, with the Warriors. Both of the first two games went into overtime at Golden State's Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif.
Through two games, this Finals series is averaging a 12.9 overnight rating. Sunday’s Game 2 also drew a 12.9 overnight rating, making it the highest-rated NBA Finals Game 2 ever on ABC. The broadcast’s rating peaked at 16.9 between 11 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. ET Sunday.

Sunday’s Game 2 marked a 26% increase from last year’s NBA Finals Game 2 between the Heat and the Spurs, which drew a 10.2 rating.
Thursday’s Game 1 drew a 10.6 rating.
Game 3 of the Finals is set for Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on ABC. The series moves to Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena after Golden State hosted the first two games.
