The Warriors won their first title in 40 years on Tuesday.
The Golden State Warriors will stage their championship parade on Friday at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT).
The Warriors clinched their first NBA title in 40 years on Tuesday, defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers in six games. Andre Iguodala was named NBA Finals MVP, receiving seven media votes to LeBron James' four.
The title is the first for an Oakland, Calif., sports team in 26 years. The greater Bay Area has seen more success, with MLB's San Francisco Giants winning three World Series titles in the last five years.
The Warriors' championship parade begins at 10 a.m. local time.
