Warriors sign Draymond Green to five-year, $85 million deal
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green will return to Golden State's roster next season after signing a five-year, $85 million deal, according to Yahoo! Sports' Marc J. Spears. The news comes approximately seven hours after Spears had reported Green had "broken off talks" with the Warriors.
The Warriors were the first team to speak with Green when free agency began early Wednesday. Golden State reserved the right to match any another team made for Green, who was a restricted free agent.
Green confirmed the deal to Yahoo! Sports, saying he was excited to be back in the Bay Area.
