Spurs forward Kyle Anderson named Summer League MVP
San Antonio Spurs forward Kyle Anderson was named MVP of the NBA Summer League, the league announced Sunday.
Anderson has averaged 22 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals in six games thus far in Las Vegas. The Spurs will face the Phoenix Suns in the Summer League championship game on Monday.
Anderson was the last pick in the first round of the 2014 draft and played 33 games for San Antonio as a rookie. He averaged 2.2 points and 2.2 rebounds in 10.8 minutes per game.
Anderson also headlines the All-NBA Summer League first team, along with New Orleans Pelicans guard Seth Curry, Chicago Bulls forward Doug McDermott, Toronto Raptors Guard Norman Powell and Phoenix Suns forward T.J. Warren.

Pelicans guard Larry Drew II, Denver Nuggets guard Emmanuel Mudiay, Dallas Mavericks forward Dwight Powell, Portland Trail Blazer forward Noah Vonleh and Houston Rockets forward Alan Williams are on the second team.
Mudiay is the only 2015 first-round pick on either team.
