According to the report, Douglas-Roberts has already started working out with the Pelicans and will agree to earn the NBA's veteran minimum.
Douglas-Roberts has averaged 7.1 points and 2.1 rebounds over six NBA seasons. He appeared in 12 games for the Clippers last season, scoring just 19 points in 103 minutes of play.
Douglas-Roberts was selected by the Brooklyn Nets in the second round of the 2008 NBA draft after being named consensus first-team All-America at Memphis.
