Report: Luke Ridnour to sit out season
Free agent guard Luke Ridnour will sit out the 2015–16 season after he was traded four times during the off-season, according to Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports.
According to the report, Ridnour's return to the NBA “appears doubtful.” Spears reports that the free agent made the decision to prevent being dealt again next season, but hasn’t necessarily decided on retirement. Several teams reached out to the 34-year-old, but there was no mutual interest.
Ridnour was traded by the Magic to the Grizzlies on June 24 in an effort to clear cap space. Then, on June 25, he was traded twice—from Memphis to the Hornets, and then to the Thunder. Five days later, Ridnour was dealt to the Raptors. He was released on July 9.
