The Nuggets signed forward Mike Miller to a one-year contract on Wednesday, the NBA announced.

Miller, 35, agreed to a contract buyout with the Trail Blazers earlier this week after he was traded to Portland in July by the Cavaliers. He hit free agency after exercising his $2.9 million contract option for 2015–16 with the Trail Blazers.

Miller played in 52 games with Cleveland last season, signing with the team after LeBron James returned. Miller averaged 2.1 points over 13.5 minutes per game, shooting 32.7% from three-point range and 32.5% overall.

A 15-year veteran, Miller has also played for the Grizzlies, Heat, Wizards, Timberwolves and Magic. Orlando drafted him fifth in the 2000 NBA draft out of Florida.
