Former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal praised Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry while speaking with the media at the SMU Athletic Forum.

While the 7'1" former center is known for his massive size, O’Neal complimented the much smaller Curry on the skills that led him to winning the MVP award last season.

“I like watching Steph Curry. He’s something that I haven't really seen. I really haven’t seen a small guard dominate like he did,” O’Neal said adding that he feels Curry “took over the game.”

O’Neal also poked fun at the 6'3", 27-year-old’s small frame.

“I saw him a couple weeks ago in New York, and no offense to him, but he looks like a little baby. He has no arm muscles, no chest muscles,” O’Neal said laughing.

Regardless of his size, Curry led the Warriors to an NBA championship last season, averaging 23.8 points per game with 7.7 assists, and 4.3 rebounds.

The reigning NBA champs open their 2015–16 season against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday.
