Warriors to wear throwback uniforms in eight games this season
The Golden State Warriors will wear “Hardwood Classics” alternate uniforms in eight games this season, the team announced Thursday.
The uniforms, which were originally worn by the team during the 1966–67 season, will be seen during all five “Hardwood Classics” home games at Oracle Arena, as well as during three away games this season.
They will first be seen on Nov. 17 against the Toronto Raptors. They will next be worn on Nov. 24 against the Los Angeles Lakers, when the team honors former guard Jason Richardson.
The jerseys will feature “The City” across the chest, as well as Golden State’s original court logo.
