Kings vice president of basketball operations Vlade Divac says DeMarcus Cousins will miss the next two games to rest his strained right Achilles according to Jason Jones of The Sacramento Bee.
Cousin left the Kings game against the Clippers on Saturday with a strained right Achilles tendon and exited the game at half-time.
The Kings lost their second game of the season to the Clippers and head into Tuesday night's game against the Memphis Grizzlies with a 1–2 record.
Cousins could also miss the upcoming game against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday before returning to the line-up on the road for Friday's meeting with the Houston Rockets at home.
