Photos: Pacers debut Hoosiers ‘Hickory High’ jerseys against Heat
The Indiana Pacers debuted their new “Hickory High” uniforms to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film Hoosiers in Friday night’s game against the Miami Heat.
The Pacers will wear the jerseys for home games 10 times this season.
Throughout the game, the Pacers will honor the city of Crawfordsville, Ind., which won the first Indiana High School Athletic Association state championship title in 1911.
Bankers Life Fieldhouse also changed its banners and introduced its players with a special video presentation prior to the game.
The team bus from the film was also parked outside of the arena.
Indiana, led by Paul George’s season-high 36 points, held off Miami 90–87 for its third straight win to bring its record to 3–3. The Heat fell to 3–3.
