Warriors beat down Kings, extend record win streak to 18

The Golden State Warriors beat the Sacramento Kings Saturday night to extend their season-opening win streak to 18 games.
Draymond Green had a triple double, posting 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists as the Warriors rolled 120-101.
Golden State broke the record for most consecutive wins to open a season on Tuesday against the Nuggets, beating the 15–0 mark set by the 1948-49 Washington Capitols and 1994 Houston Rockets with victory No. 16.
Dating back to last season, the Warriors have won 22 straight regular-season games, tying the 2007–08 Rockets for the third-longest winning streak in NBA history. The 2012–13 Heat won 27 in a row, and the all-time record belongs to the 1971-72 Lakers with 33 consecutive wins.
The Warriors next travel to face the Utah Jazz on Monday.
