Rajon Rondo suspended one game for foul language toward an official
Sacramento Kings guard Rajon Rondo has been suspended one game without pay for directing a derogatory and offensive term toward referee Bill Kennedy and not leaving the court in a timely manner after being ejected from the game, the NBA announced.
Rondo was called for two technical fouls with the ejection as the Kings lost 114–97 to the Boston Celtics last Thursday at Mexico City Arena in Mexico City. The point guard played his first eight seasons with the Celtics.
He finished the night with five points and eight assists in 24 minutes.

The last time he played the Celtics, he dropped 29 points for the Dallas Mavericks on Jan. 2.
Rondo is averaging 12.6 points, 11.0 assists and 6.9 rebounds on the season. He has started all 24 games that he has played in this season.
