Chicago Bulls guard Jimmy Butler hit a long–range three to end the first quarter against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Christmas Day.
The three–pointer gave Chicago a 32–26 lead at the end of the first. Chicago held off a late Oklahoma City rally to win 105–96.
Butler finished with a team-high 23 points along with six rebounds, four assists and four steals. Kevin Durant led all scorers with 29 points.

Chicago improved to 16–11 and snapped a three-game losing streak. Oklahoma City fell to 20–10.
