The tipoff for Monday night’s Heat-Pacers game in Miami was delayed due to a lighting malfunction in the arena.

The tipoff for Monday night’s Heat-Pacers game in Miami was delayed for roughly 35 minutes due to a lighting malfunction in the arena.
The lights were dimmed for pregame introductions and the arena staff was unable to turn them back on when the game was supposed to begin.

Players initially remained on the floor warming up in the semi-darkness but eventually returned to their locker rooms while the issue was sorted out.
The lights came back on around 8 p.m. ET, 30 minutes after the game was supposed to begin and the players were granted additional warmup time before the game could begin.
