Kings coach George Karl passes Phil Jackson in all-time wins

Sacramento Kings head coach George Karl passed Phil Jackson in all-time NBA coaching victories on Monday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
In the 116–104 road victory, Karl took over sole control of fifth place on the NBA’s all-time wins list with 1,156.
Karl now sits behind Pat Riley, Jerry Sloan, Lenny Wilkens and all-time record holder Don Nelson, who had 1,335 career wins.
Karl, who has a career 1,156–795 record, has coached in the league for 27 seasons.
A former player for the San Antonio Spurs, Karl was voted the NBA’s coach of the year in 2013. He has overcome cancer twice in the last five years.
