Former NBA player Lamar Odom will not face drug charges as he recovers from a life-threatening overdose that left him unconscious in October, the Associated Pressreported Monday.
Odom, 35, was hospitalized in Los Angeles and in physical therapy. Last weekend, he was moved to a specialized rehabilitation clinic.
Odom was rushed into emergency care in the wake of a stay at a Nevada brothel that left him unconscious on Oct. 13, where he is also suspected of using cocaine and sexual performance enhancing drugs.
The former Los Angeles Lakers star reportedly could have faced felony drug charges.
In the days that followed, Odom regained consciousness and his condition improved enough to relocate from Las Vegas to L.A.
