Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Late in the Knicks’ 116–95 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, Carmelo Anthony tried to guard Stephen Curry in a very peculiar way. He rested his hand on top of Curry’s head.

The method didn’t work very well. Anthony picked up a foul, and Curry hit a deep shot after the whistle anyway.

Curry, who finished with 13 points on 5-of-17 shooting, was cut on the forehead during the play.

Draymond Green posted an NBA-leading ninth triple double this season with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for Golden State. He also tied Tom Gola’s franchise record for triple doubles in a season.

Klay Thompson scored a game-high 34 points in the Warriors’ seventh straight win, which improved them to 44–4.
