Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh will miss All-Star game with calf injury
Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh will miss Sunday’s All-Star game with a strained right calf, the team announced.
Bosh, an 11-time All-Star selection, played in Miami’s last game and appeared to finish without sustaining an injury. Atlanta Hawks center Al Horford will replace Bosh on the Eastern Conference roster.
Last season, Bosh did not play after the All-Star break after doctors discovered blood clots on his lungs. This year’s All-Star game takes place in Toronto, where Bosh played the first seven seasons of his career. The Raptors drafted Bosh No. 4 overall in the 2003 NBA draft.
