Jordan Brand presents Kobe Bryant with full run of custom Jordans
Kobe Bryant is getting a retirement gift that any sneaker collector would dream about, as Jordan Brand has gifted the retiring Lakers star 30 pairs of shoes, one of each model of the iconic sneaker, in a white, purple and gold colorway.
Those hoping to get a pair for themselves are in luck, as Bryant and Jordan Brand have also teamed off to auction off a set of the shoes in black on eBay, with the proceeds going to charity. All 30 pairs are made to fit Bryant’s size 14 foot, and the opening bid for the collection is a whopping $100,000.
Bryant has a history with basketball’s most famous shoes, as he wore two different retro models the Air Jordan III and Air Jordan VIII during the 2003 NBA season.
