Harris averaged 13 points and seven rebounds this season starting at forward for the 23–29 Magic. The Pistons are 27–27 and a half-game out of the final playoff spot in the East, and will slot him in alongside Marcus Morris and Andre Drummond in the frontcourt.

Orlando receives some potential salary relief in the 26-year-old Jennings, who joins an already-crowded young backcourt with Elfrid Payton, Victor Oladipo and Mario Hezonja, and is on an expiring contract worth about $8.3 million. He’s averaged 6.8 points and three assists in 18 games, receiving limited playing time behind Reggie Jackson after returning from a ruptured left Achilles tendon.
