The Sacramento Kings will use a throwback court resembling their original court’s design from 1985, the team announced Wednesday.
The Kings, who will move from Sleep Train Arena to Golden 1 Center in downtown Sacramento next year, will honor their roots with the retro court for six games at the end of the season. The court will be similar to the one that existed for the Kings’ opening game at Arco Arena I on Oct. 25, 1985.
During the six-game stretch, Sacramento will suit up in its throwback baby blue uniforms, which have been worn for a series of #FlashbackFriday games the team has hosted this season.
