Stephen Curry has some company on the NBA’s scoring charts.

Blazers guard Damian Lillard torched the Raptors for 50 points in a 117–115 road loss in Toronto on Friday, joining Curry as the only players to top the 50-point mark multiple times this season. Lillard previously notched a career-high 51 points in a win over Curry’s Warriors on Feb. 19.

The fourth-year floor general shot 16-of-28 from the field, 6-of-13 from deep and 12-of-13 from the line while adding five assists and three rebounds against Toronto. Lillard scored 22 points in the fourth quarter as he attempted to lead a Portland comeback.

It didn’t take long to realize this might be a special night for Lillard, who drained an incredibly deep three-pointer to beat the first-quarter buzzer.

Curry has scored 50-plus points on three occasions (53, 51 and 51). The other solo members of this year’s 50-point club are Anthony Davis (59), DeMarcus Cousins (56), Jimmy Butler (53), Kemba Walker (52) and James Harden (50).

Lillard’s big night also helped him join guard Geoff Petrie as the only players in Blazers history with multiple 50-point games in the same season. Petrie twice topped 50 points during the 1972–73 season.
