President Obama believes that Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry is more entertaining than anyone since Hall of Famer Michael Jordan, he tells Time.

“Steph Curry is the greatest shooter that I’ve ever seen,” Obama said. “I am having more fun watching him than anybody since Michael Jordan.”

Obama, a well-known Chicago Bulls fan, was not ready to call Curry the greatest of all-time, but said he admires Curry's talent.

“Even Steph wouldn’t necessarily say he’s better than Jordan,” Obama said. “It’s rare where you get somebody who’s already at the pinnacle and then they take it a notch higher.”

What obstacles do Warriors still face in quest for 73 wins?

In 62 games, Curry is averaging 30.5 points, 6.5 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game. Curry, 28, led the Warriors to an NBA title last season.

At 59–6, the Warriors have the best record in the NBA and are aiming to match or surpass the 72–10 record of Michael Jordan's 1995–96 Bulls. The Warriors need to win 14 of their final 17 games in order to eclipse the 72-win mark.
