Zach LaVine donates Dunk Contest winnings to Minnesota deaf school
Zach LaVine donated $10,000 of his NBA dunk contest winnings to help complete the project.
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine will unveil a new kitchen space at a local Minnesota deaf school, according to a release by BDA Sports Management.
The two-time NBA dunk contest champion has made several visits to the Metro Deaf School to spend time with its students and faculty. LaVine donated $10,000 of his dunk contest winnings to help complete the kitchen’s remodeling.

LaVine is averaging 14.0 points, 3.0 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game on the year.
