Warriors’ Draymond Green: Michael Jordan told me to break Bulls’ record

Draymond Green says Michael Jordan told him the Warriors should break the 1995–96 Chicago Bulls’ record of 72 wins in a season, the Warriors forward said Sunday after Golden State beat the San Antonio Spurs to tie the record.
“Mike told me at All-Star, ‘Go win the record. Go get the record. If y’all don’t win this record, I’m going to be hot and I’m blaming you,” Green said, according to ESPN’s Ethan Strauss.

The Warriors secured their 72nd win of the season with a 92–86 win over the Spurs on Sunday. They must win their final game of the season on Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies in order to set a new NBA wins record.
Green scored 11 points with four rebounds and four assists in the win over the Spurs.
