Speaking with ESPN’s Lisa Salters during the Warriors’ 118–106 Game 1 win over the Blazers on Sunday, injured Warriors guard Stephen Curry said he thinks he can return for Game 3.
“To me, they’re pretty good,” Curry said during a sideline interview. “I’ll do what I can this week to make it happen.”
Curry, who sprained his MCL during Game 4 of the Warriors’ opening-round series against the Rockets, was initially expected to miss at least two weeks. He was seen shooting at practice on Saturday, and has not yet been ruled out for Game 2.
