The San Antonio Spurs are interested in making a run at signing Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant when he becomes a free agent this off-season, reports ESPN’s Marc Stein.
Durant, 27, will be the most-highly sought after free agent this summer. He has been named to the All-NBA first team five times in his career and was the 2014 NBA MVP. He averaged 28.2 points and 8.2 rebounds this regular season.
While there has been speculation about where Durant could land, with the Golden State Warriors at the forefront of the conversation, the star has so far given no indication about his preferred destination, or if he even wants to leave Oklahoma City.
