Former Marquette forward Henry Ellenson said that he will wait until after the lottery to schedule workouts with NBA teams, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Ellenson made the decision after being interviewed by 13 teams at the combine, all of which said he would be among the top picks in the upcoming draft.
He will not be competing in any on court activities prior to the lottery, opting to skip the combine.
Ellenson’s decision is not unusual, as players who are locks for lottery picks have had a habit of foregoing the combine in recent years.
“I’m thinking I’m a top pick,” Ellenson said. “They (the NBA teams he has interviewed with) all think that, too. It's a good position to be in for sure.”
Ellenson is projected to be picked No. 4 in SI.com’s latest mock draft.
