Kevin Durant came out red-hot in the first half of Thunder-Warriors Western Conference finals Game 2 on Wednesday night. He was feeling good. So good that when teammate Dion Waiters missed an open KD on a fast-break with a pass, KD let him know about it.
The grinning Durant struck a serious face just long enough to saunter over and serenade Waiters with a couple of eff-yous. It’s pretty clear he was joking, but if he wasn’t, who’s to tell him otherwise?
Durant had 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting at the half, so whatever he had going was working. However, the Warriors pulled away in the third quarter to win 118–91. The series is tied 1–1 with Game 3 on Sunday in Oklahoma City at 8:30 p.m.
