Mamadou Ndiaye, UC Irvine’s 7'6" center, will not withdraw from the upcoming NBA draft, he told ESPN’s Jeff Goodman

Ndiaye, who had one year of college eligibility remaining, was tied with UCF’s Tacko Fall as the tallest player in the NCAA last season. 

Ndiaye is scheduled to work out with the Kings on Tuesday and also reportedly worked out with the Lakers and Rockets. 

San Diego State’s Malik Pope to withdraw from draft

Ndiaye averaged 12.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game last season. The 22-year-old was born in Senegal and attended high school in Southern California.

Wednesday is the deadline for underclassmen to withdraw from the draft and return to school.
