Despite his unwillingness to blame his various injuries for his dropoff in performance, Warriors guard Stephen Curry has not been playing at 100% health, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.
Curry told reporters after the Warriors’ 118–94 Game 4 loss to the Thunder on Tuesday that he felt “fine” physically and that his knee was “good enough” to play on. But Wojnarowski reports that his sources close to Curry say “he’s playing at 70 percent, at best.”
Warriors coach Steve Kerr dismissed the reports that his star isn’t healthy on Wednesday.
“He’s not injured,” Kerr said, according to Bleacher Report’s Kevin Ding.
Curry missed four playoff games after spraining his knee in the Warriors’ Game 4 win over the Rockets on April 24, and hurt his elbow when he fell during Game 2 against the Thunder.
