The NBA has partnered with Twitter and Samsung to offer 360-degree video to fans during the NBA Finals, according to The Verge.
When the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers take the floor Thursday, the NBA will be tweeting out links to videos shot using Samsung’s Gear 360 camera.
The technology will allow fans to click and drag to view different portions of the videos.
The videos will not be available directly on the Twitter app, with links leading viewers to a separate website.
The NBA partnership is Twitter’s first attempt at offering 360-degree video.
