On Thursday, the new all-white colorway of Stephen Curry’s ‘Chef’ Curry Two sneakers were memed into oblivion.

Twitter was littered with dad jokes within hours of the release, and the cracks continued well into Friday. They ran so rampant that Curry was actually asked about them following the Warriors’ Game 4 win over the Cavaliers.

What else could Steph do but stand by his kicks?

“If I had them in the road bag, I definitely would have worn them.” Curry said. “To show how fire they are.”
