The Milwaukee Bucks and coach Jason Kidd are finalizing a three-year contract extension worth over $15 million, The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports. The deal would keep Kidd under contract through the 2020 season.

Kidd, 43, began his coaching career with the Brooklyn Nets before leaving in 2014 to join the Bucks. After Milwaukee finished a dreadful 15–67 in 2013–14, Kidd led the team to a drastic turnaround in his first season, going 41–41. He failed to reach the playoffs in year two, finishing 33–49.

During Kidd’s time with the team, Milwaukee has traded away point guard Brandon Knight and a first-round pick for Michael Carter-Williams, and experimented with Giannis Antetokounmpo at point.
