Speaking with the media one day after losing to the Cavaliers in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, Draymond Green said that many people were rooting against Golden State in the playoffs.

“A lot of people wanted to see us lose,” Green said. “They got their wish. I don’t know if they'll get it a lot more times, but they got it this time.”

After a nine-point, 12-rebound performance in a Game 4 win, Green was suspended for Game 5 of the Finals for a flagrant foul, and scored just eight points in Game 6. The fourth-year forward showed up in Game 7, scoring 32 points on 11-of-15 shooting, with 15 rebounds and nine assists.
