The city of Cleveland will celebrate its first sports championship since 1964 with a parade for the NBA-champion Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.
The parade will start near the Quicken Loans Arena, head through downtown and then finish with a rally at Mall B. The event will include a performance by the Ohio State marching band and more than 60 floats and specialty vehicles.
The Cavaliers claimed their first title in franchise history with a 93–89 win over the Golden State Warriors in Game 7 of the Finals. Cleveland came back from 3–1 down in the series, becoming the first team in NBA history to do so.
