The Spurs have signed former Villanova guard Ryan Arcidiacono to a two-year deal, Wildcats coach Jay Wright confirmed on Twitter.

The deal, which is partially guaranteed, was first reported by Darren Wolfson of KSTP-TV in Saint Paul, Minn.

Arcidiacono, 22, was the captain of a Wildcats team that went 35–5 last season and went on to win the national championship. He averaged 12.5 points, 4.2 assists and 1.4 steals per game as a senior, and was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four.

San Antonio owned just one pick in Thursday’s NBA draft, at No. 29, and used it on Washington guard Dejounte Murray.
