The Los Angeles Lakers are still hopeful for a meeting with free agent Kevin Durant, reports ESPN’s Chris Broussard.
Durant has reportedly set meetings with the Heat, Celtics, Thunder, Warriors, Spurs and Clippers once NBA free agency opens on July 1. Though the Lakers are not on Durant’s initial list, the Lakers intend to contact him on July 1, reports Broussard.
“I can't imagine Durant wouldn't talk to us,” a Lakers source told Broussard. “That would shock me.”
