The Philadelphia 76ers have agreed to terms with free agent point guard Jerryd Bayless on a three-year, $27 million deal, Jon Krawczynski of the Associated Press reports.
Bayless, 27, has spent the past two seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, coming off the bench behind Michael Carter-Williams. He averaged 10.4 points in 28.9 minutes per game last season, knocking down 43.7 percent of his threes.
The eight-year veteran will enter a guard rotation in Philly that includes T.J. McConnell, Nick Stauskas and Hollis Thompson. He will aid rookie Ben Simmons in his transition to the NBA.
