The Cavaliers will not match the offer sheet for guard Matthew Dellavedova, reports Chris Haynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Dellavedova reportedly agreed to a four-year, $38 million deal with the Milwaukee Bucks earlier this month.
Dellavedova averaged 7.5 points, 4.4 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game for the Cavaliers last season. He played in 76 regular season games, and also appeared in 20 contests during Cleveland’s Finals run.
Dellavedova, 25, has spent his entire NBA career with the Cavs. He signed with the team as an undrafted free agent ahead of the 2013–14 season, and came to be known for his defensive energy.

Dellavedova’s intensity has at times given him a negative reputation around the league. In a Los Angeles Times poll of players and coaches, Dellavedova was voted the dirtiest player in the league.
In his career, Dellavedova has averaged 5.7 points and 3.4 assists per game, shooting 39.8% from three.
