The Thunder are beginning to move on.
One day after Kevin Durant announced he would sign with the Golden State Warriors, the Thunder removed a poster of Durant that was hung outside their arena. An image of Durant was one of many placed over the arena entrance.
On Monday, Durant, a four-time scoring champion and former MVP, announced he would be leaving Oklahoma City for Golden State. Durant had spent his first nine seasons in the NBA with the Thunder, the team who drafted him No. 2 overall in the 2007 draft.
Durant enjoyed much success during his time in Oklahoma City. In addition to his individual accomplishments, the Thunder have played in four of the last six Western Conference Finals, including a trip to the NBA Finals in 2012.
